CTA member Johnsons Coaches has published new safety measures for coach travel during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic for group leaders and school groups.

The new safety measures are designed to aid local businesses in safely transporting employees who cannot work from home. Johnsons Coaches are implementing social distancing measures and rigorous cleaning procedures aboard all their vehicles to help support safe transportation. Strict cleaning and operating measures have been implemented including after every journey the coaches are disinfected and cleaned as well as anti-viral fogging on a weekly basis.

“In these difficult times, the protection and safety of our passengers and drivers is our primary concern,” says John Johnson, commercial director, Johnsons Coaches. “And as the country starts to be released from this long period of lockdown, we hope businesses and schools will start to consider booking coaches for their group travel. We strongly believe that in this current period of uncertainty our coaches provide a safer and more secure transport option than other forms of public transport.”
